GreenOre Gold is a private gold exploration company set up to focus on exploration upside and production opportunities in Europe. The team has recent experience in the expansion of the Dalradian gold deposit in Northern Ireland from 1m oz to over 3m oz. There has been a significant increase in interest in Ireland and Northern Ireland by exploration companies over the Dalradian Terrane; however Scotland has been overlooked. GreenOre Gold acquired high potential exploration ground on trend.
The company acquired a licence in Aberdeenshire on the Dalradian trend and is currently working up the opportunity. The team has also vast experience in mining exploration with the directors listing several companies on AIM including African Diamonds, Kenmare Resources, African Gold (later Mwana Africa) as well as Petrel Resources. The team is currently evaluating a number of high priority targets to incorporate them into the company portfolio.
GreenOre joined NR Private Market in early February 2020 seeking to raise £600,000 via the platform’s pool of sophisticated and high net worth investors.
Regrettably market conditions, exacerbated by the COVID19 pandemic, have remained challenging and so it is with regret that the GreenOre Board, in agreement and with the full support of MINEXIA, has decided to suspend the raise. Gavin Berkenheger, GreenOre’s CEO, emphasised that whilst the offer was halted, that initial engagement with investors has been encouraging and that with recent press coverage in Aberdeenshire, that he felt that interest was there but that sentiment was being knocked by the pandemic.
He hastened to add that this was affecting all exploration and development ventures but that their JV partnerships with Koza and Erris ensured that work would continue across their Scottish portfolio.
GreenOre Gold expects to re-launch their offer later in the year.
